Industry Experience:

Afterfinishing graduate school in 1980, Chris worked at a Big Eight accounting form in the consulting division.  After becoming a senior consultant, Chris left public accounting to enter the industry, where he held numerous positions, such as Controller, CFO, Financial Accounting Officer and Assistant Secretary & Treasurer for several companies and service companies.

Duties performed in industry included:

  • Assisted the President in managing securities for an insurance holding company and managed a hedge fund

  • Was Assistant Secretary and Treasurer or Controller for insurance companies for a period of seven years

  • Merged Life of Georgia with Southland Life Insurance Company’s financial and accounting departments and installed financial accounting software for these companies

  • Managed treasury functions, financial accounting functions, (over 140 accountants at one company), personnel departments and a data processing department for several hundred million to multi-billion dollar corporations

Chris is a frequent guest on radio shows and does numerous seminars for individuals, business owners and their employees.
